The author was raised up in a largely Taoist home, studied in a Methodist school, and was converted at the age of 16 through reading pictorial tracts by Chick Publication. What convinced him of the reality of God and the lost condition of man were the facts of science and fulfilled prophecies found in the Bible.
In 1978, at the age of 21, he surrendered to enter into the fulltime ministry, and four years later, he was called into the interim pastorate of the Singapore Bible Baptist Church. After serving for two-and-a-half years, the Lord burdened him to start another independent Baptist Church – the Shalom Baptist Church. In 2000, he was led of God to start another independent Baptist church - the Shaddai Baptist Church in the Eastern part of the Island of Singapore.
Beside pastoring and doing Bible Conferences in the Asia-Pacific Region, he is, of late, very much burdened to be involved in the ministry of the printed page to impact the lost for Christ in this Last Days.
The author loves to spend unhurried moments, “sitting at the feet of Jesus”, and enjoying the presence of the Lord and learning from His Word. It is his undying conviction that God’s works will have to be done in God’s way to have God’s results. He is keenly aware that the world is never interested in what he can do but always in what God can do through him. Like John the Baptist of old, he strongly believes that, “… a man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.” ( Jn 3:27 ) He plans to use his remaining years and the gift bestowed upon him to leave behind a lasting legacy for this End-Time Generation. It is His cherished hope to ‘multiply himself’ through the ministry of the printed page and to impact the masses for the kingdom of God. – Yan T. Wee
